Oak Bay Charm
Full interior renovation on a modest sized classical Oak Bay character home.
A cozy charming 1930’s home got a major interior facelift: reconfigured for maximum practicality and efficiency.
Stripped to bare studs, the general layout was conserved although the spaces were opened and modernized. New windows, doors and insulation complete this re-model.
The result is an amalgamation of antiques and classical charm perfectly married to clean, practical lines.
The addition of a central beam allowed for an opening of the space. The kitchen was completely reconfigured, solarium eliminated and replaced by a convenient den opening on a beautiful patio.
A gas fireplace in a custom Italian inspired hearth, Moroccan tiles in entry and laundry, both bathrooms completely revamped, a maximization of space in the un-conventional shape and layout of the master, wide plank white oak floors, and a romantic guest suite compose a truly stunning “new” home.
